The program is aimed at helping participants learn various strategies for managing chronic pain. It will be led by a multidisciplinary team of health care providers including a nurse practitioner, kinesiologist, pharmacist, social worker, registered dietitian and health promotion specialist. Topics include understanding pain, physical activity, stress, thoughts and emotions, medication, nutrition and managing flare-ups.
Adults experiencing non-cancer chronic pain (arthritis, back pain, fibromyalgia, etc.) are eligible to participate.
Program runs weekly, for six weeks, beginning May 20, 2025.
